St John Sacred Heart > Kindergarten

St. John-Sacred Heart offers a Kindergarten Program that gives your child an excellent base for his/her upcoming educational years. Our Kindergarten Program is an integrated program of both half day and full day options.

The emphasis of the Kindergarten Program includes numeral & letter recognition, identificaton of letters, sounds, and creative writing. They will be introduced simple addition, sequencing and patterns.

Your child's faith is nurtured through daily instructions and participation in weekly liturgies.

The kindergarten children participate in art classes by creating projects using scissors, glue & paints. The children are introduced to music by learning new songs, finger plays and by expressing themselves with hand instruments. The development of large motor skills are expanded through indoor & outdoor activites.

Your child will go on field trips and they will also participate in the annual holiday program.

Our Kindergarten program meets daily at St. John-Sacred Heart School in St. John.
